Amerimold 2018

WorkNC 2018 R2, by Vero Software, to be Exhibited at Amerimold 2018, June 13-14 in Novi, Michigan

The latest release of the WorkNC computer-aided-manufacturing (CAM) solution, by Vero Software, will be exhibited June 13-14 at Amerimold 2018, hosted at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Mich.

Dedicated to mold manufacturing, Amerimold is an annual tradeshow and technical conference that addresses the business development, best practices and networking interests of the plastic-injection mold-manufacturing industry. Amerimold is owned and operated by 4th-generation, family-owned Gardner Business Media and is presented by MoldMaking Technology magazine, Plastics Technology magazine and Modern Machine Shop magazine.

Visitors to Amerimold can see the latest upgrades and enhancements available in WorkNC 2018 R2 at booth No. 414, where demonstrations of the software’s new and improved features will be performed.

Available with WorkNC 2018 R2 is the new Pocket Machining with Waveform pattern, a development that complements the existing 3D Waveform roughing strategy. This new pattern allows curves to be selected instead of surfaces, which speeds up calculation time.

An important update to the solution’s CAD operation is the 2D drawing function in WorkNC Designer. This improves communication with the shop floor by extracting 2D, sections, and detail views from 3D models, while also documenting the part or assembly on a sheet.
